His teammate Carlos Boozer has already been tweeting that he will “pick up where D. Rose left off.” Chicago has decided that they are not behind him. Noah hasn’t been reached for comment due to an extensive hair appointment.
When asked what he has planned next, Rose thought for a moment and said he wouldn’t mind trying his hand at acting. “Maybe a ‘Space Jam 2,’ but this time a bit more realistic.” He went on to say he wants more shading in the Looney Toons characters to give them a more 3-dimensional feel. Also, he wants the outer-space scenes to actually be shot in space.
The Bulls organization has stated that while they are sorry to see Rose go, they understand his decision. They now have decided to forfeit the remaining games with The Heat and whomever they would have faced in the championship game. The head office released a statement where they stated “It is rather pointless to continue without (Derrick) Rose. I mean, who are we going to have start in his place? Brian Scalabrine? Is that the red-haired weirdo? Is he even still on the team?”
As it stands right now, The Bulls are in talks with Oprah Winfrey to have the United Center for another day where she can have an entire hour-long re-enactment of Tom Cruise jumping on her couch.
There is no word on whether or not The Bulls will retire #1, but Rose has already promised to hoist his jersey in his Mother’s house above the refrigerator, regardless of their decision.
